The River Terrace. Tell them that you want a room with a balcony over the river, I beivlee it is called the Duck Building . It has large rooms and you can sit on the balcony and watch everything. You can walk right across the street through the walkway and be right on the strip. It is right behind the Mountain Mall so it is in the heart of Gatlinburg. But I do agree, if you want a romantic weekend, get a cabin with a hot tub. Try Auntie Belhams. They have them right in Gatlinburg and they are cheaper than most I have looked at. We really enjoyed our long weekend there not too long ago.
